Sea Walker With Scarf
- What could be better than a warm scarf at winter?

Guys, this is probably the most cutest thing I have ever made.
The new mane style is absolutely adorable, I'm going to stick to it^^

Happy New Year 2017
This is a New Year postcard with my Mane-Three! Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you all!

* Initially I wanted to send a real hardcopy envelope to ColaCat8018 and RektbowDash by mail, but I stil can't find a good place in my town where I can print it in desired format... I know, a digital version won't be as exiciting as a real copy, but whatever XD *

  • Listening to: The howling of the wind
  • Reading: «Kenobi» by John Jackson Miller
I did not have much time last month or two, and it was a bit hard to force myself to draw EP 12 in my free time in the way I used to draw it. The unwilling to draw the next episode led me to a thought I am not quite satisfied with the current format of my comic.

There are just way too many words and story telling in my episodes. Sometimes I had to make many different backgrounds and put in more pages just because I needed more space for text. Sometimes I wanted to put in more dialogues, but refused because that would cost me time on drawing of one more background.

Recently my good friend ColaCat8018 pointed me on an old comic back from 1970s. It's called "The Phantom". While I was reading it, I realized that the format they used there is just what I needed.

The pages there are usually made of one big and solid background, describing the whole landscape or scene, and a lot of text over it. I think this way of comic making will suit me just right!

The comic will look more like a book, the pages will be bigger, but the amount of pages will be much lower. And I will be able to throw a lot of text over it :D

Since I did not draw much, I was writing a lot. I already have a couple of solid episodes (3000+ words in total) of "Sea Walker's adventures", how I prefer to call it, but these are episodes from the future you don't know yet (this tells you that I am not writing them in chronological order).

I will tell more about my work soon. Right now just make a note, that I did not quit the developing of my comic :)

Everything is only beginning.

Just a regular MLP fan, I guess. Also, the creator of series of comics about a pony with name Sea Walker.

English is not my native language, so you may expect some mistakes in my comics (tell me, if you found one). I started making MLP themed comics to fullfill the miss of these ponies I felt after I watched all the MLP episodes.

And it turned out drawing ponies actually helps to fulfill the miss (and it helps to beat the depression), so I decided to make up my own story and do some comics about it. The top priority for my comics is to tell a story, not to tell a joke. I am adding some humour from time to time though :D

I very associate myself with Sea Walker, and her behavior is basically my own behavior :) MLP is a great universe to make up interesting stories that are easy to illustrate. I am not an artist, and I am glad I can easily draw more-or-less-like-in-original-MLP-show ponies with no special education behind. Following the original style of the show is one of core principles in my art.

Characters draw style is slightly changing from EP to EP, this could be explained by: improving of my draw skills, discovering new techniques and simple experiments. Sometimes I am showing my characters from a different angle, and their look is actually changing along the story as well. All these style changes, however, never go outside the bounds of original MLP style, as I am very strict about it.

A couple of words about me: I am a programmer, I am a hobbyist-musician and I absolutely adore epic symphonic music!
